Anthem, Arizona is a community in North Phoenix, created in 1999 as a total package of recreation, schools, businesses, medical facilities and housing. Anthem has approximately 12,000 homes, 4 elementary schools, a high school, 4 church complexes, a county library, a medical complex, an outlet shopping mall, and a large commerce park full of business services designed to create a self-contained community.

A short 10 minute freeway drive north from the more populated Phoenix area, Anthem was built in the middle of the desert nestled between two mountains. It feels secluded, and that adds to the sense of community that is strong here. The Anthem Community Center serves as the central meeting place for classes (adults and children), pool parties, basketball leagues and exercise classes. In the summer, the Big Splash water park serves as the place to cool off outdoors.

Anthem is divided into two “communities:” Anthem Parkside and Anthem Country Club. Anthem Arizona offers townhouses, patio homes, single, and two-story homes for almost every price range.
