Anthem Arizona Homes For Sale
Del Webb (a division of Pulte Homes) "created" Anthem, Arizona in 1999, as a total package of recreation, schools, businesses, medical facilities and housing. At builder close-out sometime in 2008, the community will have about 12,500 homes. Anthem has 4 elementary schools, 4 church complexes, a new state-of-the-art high school, a new library, a medical complex, a shopping mall, and a large commerce park full of business services to create a self-contained community.
A short 10 minute freeway drive north from the more populated Phoenix area, Anthem was built in the middle of the desert nestled between two mountains. It feels secluded, and that adds to the sense of community that is strong here, with many residents reluctant to leave. The Anthem Community Center serves as the central meeting place for classes (adults and children), pool parties, basketball leagues and exercise classes. In the summer, the Big Splash waterpark serves as the place to cool off outdoors.
Anthem is divided into two “communities:” Anthem Parkside and Anthem Country Club.
Anthem Arizona offers townhouses, patio homes, single, and two-story homes for almost every price range.
Whether buying a new home or a resale home, make sure you find a realtor that knows the area. I’ve been living in Anthem almost since it began, and can provide the “inside scoop”) that realtors living outside of the community can not give.
Whether you are just exploring the possibility of moving to Anthem, or you’ve made your decision to move to Anthem, I think you’ll find this web site valuable.
