Anthem Parkside Homes
Anthem Parkside is a series of neighborhoods designed around the family. Parkside homes are within walking distance to schools, with walking and bike trails throughout the community. Neighborhood parks are a gathering spot for parents and children alike.
Parkside homes tend to be lower in price than the Anthem Country Club, though there are homes in Anthem Parkside in the $700,000 - $1 million range as well as less expensive homes in the mid-$200,000’s. Parkside homes can be 1 or 2 story, and though many have smaller lots, there are some very large lots (over 12,000 square feet).
Anthem Parkside spans the area both east and west of I-17. Most of the new home development is now on the west side of I-17. When you search for homes in Anthem, location is important. Some homes are within walking distance to the Anthem Community Center, High School and shopping. Other homes are in a quieter area, away from most business districts. New homes being built on the west side of the community may be nearby schools and shopping, while others are in a remote area with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Anthem has 4 elementary schools and Boulder Creek High School, now in its third year of operation. All of the schools are well ranked by the Arizona Department of Education.
Even though there are many amenities meant for children, Anthem residents include many empty-nesters, singles and couples without children. You’ll find more adults than kids using the walking trails, and the Anthem Community Center has adult sports programs, exercise classes, and adult interest programs as well.
Several years ago, Anthem made news for the number of multi-generational families that live in Anthem. One member of an extended family moves to Anthem, and convinces others in the family to move to the community as well. This happens over and over because of the wonderful sense of community Anthem has and its ability to attract all ages.
