Vistancia voted the 2005 best master planned community
From the private country club at Blackstone, to the family community at Vistancia Village, to the Over-55 community of Trilogy, Vistancia has something for everyone who doesn’t mind a bit of a drive into town. Vistancia is a few years old now, but continues to gain in popularity, mainly because the city is moving toward Vistancia and it’s no longer “way out there”.
Like other self-contained communities that have grown up this way, Vistancia has created its own small-town atmosphere. An elementary school is in the community with 3 more planned, and shopping/health services have moved a bit closer to the community as well. Vistancia is located in the Northwest valley, north of Surprise and off the 303 highway scheduled to be completed by 2010. Vistancia is still much of a vision, but it is a vision that has been embraced by more and more new residents.
The community center boasts a full-sized gym, a swimming pool and water slide, tennis courts and activities for residents. The active adult community has a golf course and its own community center with workout room, indoor lap pool and outdoor resort pool. Blackstone has a private golf club with a fitness center and clubhouse as well.
Builders that have participated in building at Vistancia include Aston Woods, Cachet, Engle, Shea, Maracay and T.W. Lewis. But when considering a home in Vistancia, don’t forget to consider resale homes, which can often be purchased at lower prices than the builder will offer.
