Pre-foreclosure inventories in Anthem, AZ are trending down according to Maricopa County records. Homes show up in the Maricopa County foreclosure lists when the owner has been issued a “Notice of Trustee Sale”, which is a 90 day notice stating that the home will be sold at auction. 359 homes are on this list in the 85086 zip code, which includes most of Anthem. A year ago, 478 homes in Anthem were in this preforeclosure category.

A little less than half of these homes are for sale or pending approval from the bank. Approximately 40% of homes for sale in Anthem are short sales, which is higher than the 27% average in the greater Phoenix area.

Buying short sales can be a time consuming process, but since 40% of our inventory is short sales, these homes shouldn’t be ignored if you have the patience.
