Anthem Parks

Next to the Anthem Community is the 63 acre Anthem Community Park, which has something for just about everyone. Besides being a gathering point for the many Anthem festivals (Music in May, The fall festival and Anthem Days in the spring), the park has many amenities that bring anthem residents to the park on a daily basis. Photographers frequent the park, for wedding and family photos as well as just to catch a duck or 2 in a strange pose. Some other amenities include:

  • The Daisy Mountain Railroad is a fun train ride for adults and children. It winds around the Anthem community, over a lake and through a tunnel. The ride is about 10 minutes.
  • The 4 acre catch-and-release fishing lake is stocked at least once a year.
  • The Anthem Community Park is home to several baseball and softball fields, that are used extensively by recreational and competitive teams, for both children and adults.
  • The Anthem skatepark (only available to Anthem residents- id’s are checked) is a relatively new addition to the Anthem park. For you skateboard enthusiasts (I can’t guarantee the validity of the next statement): the park has a bowl, a big 8, a 4, step up, big QP and funbox, rail down 4.
  • For those who like a flat area to skate on, the Anthem Community Park also has a roller hockey rink.
  • The Anthem Adventure Park is a great area for parents of younger kids. It is a fenced-off playground with several large tube slides, a splash park for the warmer days (or not), and some other fun apparatus to play on. The Daisy Mountain Railroad winds around the park, and the waterfall makes for a nice ambiance.
