4th Quarter Anthem Country Club Sales Drop, Prices Stable

We’ll call this good news – Anthem Country Club Sold Prices in the 4th quarter of  2011 were stable, showing a negligible drop in price per square foot over the 4th quarter of 2010.  The number of sales dropped by 16 percent over a year-ago though, probably because of a decrease in inventory.

Though Anthem Country Club homeowners that are considering a home sale may be hoping for more, price stability is the first step before any meaningful price increases can be possible.  The Club, like many places all over the valley is still working through a small, but meaningful distressed property inventory.   We’ll continue to see short sales and foreclosures keep a damper on  property values  through the next year.
